Our story began in an unexpected way, after years of friendship and shared loss, and has blossomed into a joyful marriage built on faith, resilience, and gratitude. Together we embrace our mission: Live Long—Live Strong—staying active, seeking beauty in the world, and sharing our joy with family and friends.
From hiking trails in the U.S. and abroad to quiet evenings at home in Nashville, we’re passionate about exploring, creating, and making meaningful memories. We’re excited to continue this journey hand-in-hand and to invite you to share in it through our travels, stories, and reflections.

Southwest Parks October 2025
A quick birthday trip flying into Vegas, then driving a rental car to Zion, Bryce, Page, AZ, Grand Canyon, Sedona, and flying home from Phoenix turned into one of our favorite hiking getaways.
Flying the National Parks of the Rockies August 2023
Our Mooney aircraft gives us a front-row seat to the beauty of North America. On one unforgettable journey, we flew from Nashville through seven National Parks, all the way into Canada’s Banff and Jasper. Over three weeks, we hiked among towering peaks, stayed in grand historic lodges, watched wildlife in their natural setting, and soared above some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes on earth. It was another adventure of a lifetime—one only possible from the cockpit.
South Africa 2024
South Africa holds a special place in our hearts. David first worked there as a young engineer, and through Estelle’s family—now warmly Sarah’s family too—it became his second home. We’ve returned often, especially in the winters, drawn back by the breathtaking scenery, abundant wildlife, and the warmth of its people. No matter how many visits we make, the country never ceases to surprise and delight us.
Patagonia January 2024
Patagonia had been on David’s hiking wish list for years. When he won a travel-writing contest with the prize of a trip for two anywhere in the world, we leafed through the thick catalog and knew at once where to go: MT Sobek’s Luxury Patagonia. In early 2024, we set off to explore both the Argentine and Chilean sides of this legendary landscape. Towering peaks, glaciers, and windswept beauty made it truly the trip of a lifetime.
